Children’s Dentistry FAQs

Question: Do you offer a gentle approach for children?

Answer: Of course. We take great care to ensure your child feels comfortable throughout the visit. Rather than approaching your little one like just another patient who happens to be younger, we offer a compassionate, empathetic first visit – and every visit after that – so you can rest assured that your child is in thoughtful, caring hands.

Question: My child brushes and flosses regularly. Can’t I just wait until my little one is older?

Answer. We strongly encourage parents to begin bringing their children in at a young age, whether once a first tooth erupts or by your little one’s first birthday. By seeing your child as teeth begin to grow, we may monitor and guide your child’s dental development, catching and treating any problems that may arise. We also help your child establish excellent oral hygiene habits.

Question: Why is early care so important? Can’t I just address problems later?

Answer: Preventive care is always preferred – it saves you time, effort, money, and discomfort. Avoiding problems rather than treating them is beneficial for everyone involved. In addition, the healthy development of your child’s teeth promotes proper speech development as well as successful eating habits.
