2. False! Applying aspirin or any painkiller directly to the gums can burn. Instead, rinse with warm water and floss on either side of the tooth to ensure something caught between your teeth isn’t the culprit. If not, come see Dr. Foust right away!
3. True. In the event of a fractured or broken tooth, pick up any remnants you can find and bring them with you to see Dr. Foust.
4. True. Only touch the tooth by the crown. Then hold the tooth under running water to remove foreign debris. Never remove any tissue attached to the tooth. Place the tooth in a cup of milk and bring the cup with you to see Dr. Foust.
