Of course, with all of the things that we absolutely, wholeheartedly love about autumn, there comes the beautiful yet inevitably messy falling of the leaves. While you may give yourself the time to enjoy the beautiful blanket of foliage that surrounds your home, the time comes when they need to be gathered up! If you think that time is probably coming sooner than later, we have good news for you: Leaf Collection Days 2018 in Ankeny, IA is just around the corner, so fill up on the details!
What Is This?
Leaf Collection Days is our community’s program that lasts four weeks and provides you with a location where you may get rid of those mounds of leaf litter! Remember, you may deposit them in yard waste bags. Or, you may collect them in other ways (such as in plastic bags), dump them at the collection site, and then bring your chosen collection container with you as you leave. It’s up to you!
When Is It Taking Place?
The program will take place from October 27th through November 11th, 2018. You may drop your leaves off 24 hours a day. However, if you’d like help, assistance will be on site on Saturdays and Sundays between the hours of 9:00 in the morning and 3:00 in the afternoon.
Where Is Leaf Collection Happening?
Bring your leaves to responsibly dispose of them at the Prairie Ridge Family Aquatic Center, which you will find at the following address:
