With that said, we are so very happy to announce the brand new Mayor’s Tree Lighting for 2018! Gather with our Ankeny, IA community members, as we welcome in the holidays with Mayor Gary Lorenz with a dazzling, light-filled display!
About The Tree Lighting
This is more than just a tree lighting. Of course, you can look forward to a brilliant ceremony as both our mayor and Santa Claus himself turn our town’s tree into one sparkling, bejeweled thing of beauty! Then, there will also be the fireworks show, ice carving, live entertainment, and even a food drive! It’s a wonderful start to the winter celebrations.

Enjoy the tree lighting event on November 30th, 2018 from 6pm to 7pm.

Free! However, if you wish to donate to the Helping Hand Food Pantries, remember to bring non-perishable food with you to contribute.
