It’s the Fire Department Special Needs Open House in our very own Ankeny, IA community. The experience will be full of information, activities, and hand-on fun for an enjoyable evening for the whole family!
What Is This?
The Fire Department Special Need Open House is an event that invites all individuals with special needs, autism, or disabilities, as well as their family members, to attend an open house night! Gain some new knowledge and education, while you have fun and get to know those first to respond to emergencies in our community. Families can look forward to an up-close look at fire trucks, a look around the station, storytelling, and more! Keep in mind that the open house will include quiet areas, as well as sensory-friendly areas.
