When Does the CPR/AED/First Aid Class Take Place?
The class will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020. However, the registration deadline is January 23, and registration can be done online. This advance registration will ensure that there are spaces for everyone who is interested in the training.
Where is the Training Class Held?
The class will take place at the Parks & Recreation office, at 220 W First St., in Ankeny. The class hours are from 9 – 11 am.
Who is Teaching this Class?
The class is under the leadership of the American Red Cross, and they will certifying participants at the end of the class. The certificate is good for two years, and will expire in February 2022. First aid, CPR and AED instructions will be covered, for both adult and pediatric situations.
Is There a Cost to Take the Class?
If you are an Ankeny resident, the class cost is $68. For non-residents, the class is $82.
What Else Should I Know?
